H. Wayne Sanderson has accumulated over 30 years of business management experience while serving as a consultant to, or in senior management positions with,
both public and private companies.
He has been involved in electronic product design, manufacturing
and marketing, marketing for a wholesale distributor of industrial electronic components and systems, computer software manufacturing,
computer consulting and consumer and industrial product sales and marketing. Since 1997, he has served as a consultant to business and nonprofit organizations in Texas, Montana, New Mexico and Utah.
He has served as corporate secretary, controller and a member of the boards of directors of several public and private companies and nonprofit organizations. He has been a member of several Rotary Clubs and
is currently a member and past president of the Mineral Wells Rotary Club in Mineral Wells, Texas.
Mr. Sanderson was born in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated from Arlington State College (now the University of Texas at Arlington) with a B.S. degree in electrical engineering. He also completed several courses in engineering and mathematics at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas, and several postgraduate courses in a graduate degree program at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.
Upon graduation from Arlington State, he was commissioned a second lieutenant in the U. S. Army Reserves. He served two years of active duty in the U. S. Army, most of which was spent as the
battalion communications officer and radar officer for the 2nd Target Acquisition Battalion, 26th Field Artillery, based at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Thereafter,
he served four years with the U.S. Army Reserves (Quartermaster Corps) in Fort Worth, Texas, followed by two years of inactive reserve duty, achieving the rank of Captain, USAR.
